Walora project details
The project “Digitalization and Environmental Sustainability – the Fundamentals of Future-Oriented Curricula” with Project n° 2025-1-BG01-KA210-ADU-000356929
is an Erasmus+ small-scale partnership in adult education running from September 2025 to August 2026. It is implemented by our organisation Walora e.U. as a partner and the project coordinator Obuchenie EDD.
The project focuses on two key priorities for modern education: digital transformation and environmental sustainability. Its main objective is to develop innovative training approaches by integrating multimedia learning tools and sustainability topics into adult education curricula. Through cooperation, knowledge exchange, and practical training activities, the partners aim to support educators in developing digital teaching materials and new courses related to climate change and sustainable development.
As a result, the project will create multimedia learning resources, new training courses, and improved digital teaching methods, contributing to more accessible, engaging, and environmentally responsible adult education.
Online Seminar
On 6 October 2025, an online seminar titled “Teaching Climate Change and Sustainability via Multimedia Content to Ensure More Effective Training Results” was held. Trainers from the two partner organizations, Obuchenie EOOD and Evdokiya Tsvetichova e.U., took part in the seminar.
During the seminar, both organizations presented their activities, including the courses they offer, their target groups, and the way they organize and conduct training sessions and study visits. A special focus was placed on EU competencies, standards, and recommendations for developing structured courses for adult learners.
Job Shadowing Visit of Experts from Obuchenie EOOD at Walora
From 3 to 10 November 2025, two representatives of Obuchenie EOOD took part in a job shadowing visit at the partner organization Evdokiya Tsvetichova e.U. (Walora) in Tulbing, Austria.
This working visit was part of the planned activities within the project and aimed to provide participants with direct insight into the Austrian organization’s work in the field of adult education related to climate change and environmental sustainability.
During the job shadowing, the hosts presented the courses they deliver, their teaching methods, and the educational resources they use. The visiting experts also explored practical approaches to transforming an educational organization into a more environmentally responsible and sustainable institution. In addition, they were introduced to the sustainability policies and initiatives of the city of Vienna in the field of sustainable development.
The visit offered valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, observation of training practices, and discussion of innovative approaches to sustainability education in adult learning.

During the meeting, the partners presented their educational activities and discussed the development of multimedia learning materials and digital tools for adult education. Participants explored practical approaches to creating engaging digital training content and integrating modern technologies into learning environments.
The job shadowing in Sofia further strengthened the partnership and contributed to the project’s goal of combining digital learning methods with environmental sustainability education. Photographs from the activity document the collaborative work and learning experience of the participants.
Training Course in Vienna, Austria
From 11 to 17 January 2026, eight members of the team of “Obuchenie” Ltd. participated in a 7-day practical training course titled “Conducting, Management and Resources for Providing Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Training Courses.” The training was hosted by the partner organization Walora in Austria.
The course covered a range of key topics, including climate change and the international community’s response, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the European Green Deal and its connection to education, the circular economy, and the European sustainability competence framework GreenComp. Participants also explored practical methods and tools for designing and delivering sustainability-focused training programs.
The training followed an interactive and practice-oriented format, combining expert presentations, discussions, individual tasks, and group exercises. This approach allowed participants to experiment with different scenarios for organizing and facilitating training sessions, strengthening both their knowledge of sustainability topics and their skills in delivering effective educational activities.
Training Course in Sofia, Bulgaria
A second training course took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 15th of March until 21st of March 2026 where 8 participants from Walora attended specialized training course focused on digital learning technologies called “Media training materials based in digital technologies” held by Obuchenie OOD.
The training introduced educators to multimedia content creation for education, including video production, digital storytelling, and the use of online learning tools. Participants worked in a media studio environment and gained hands-on experience with equipment such as microphones, green screens, and video editing software.
This activity helped educators develop practical skills for creating engaging digital training materials, which will be used to design new courses combining digital learning methods with environmental sustainability topics. The experience also strengthened cooperation between the partner organizations and supported the project’s goal of modernizing adult education through innovative digital solutions.
